Le président de la Transition, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma effectue ce jeudi une visite dans la cité minière de Moanda dans le sud-est du Gabon où il visitera les infrastructures industrielles de la Compagnie minière de l’Ogooué (COMILOG) et procédera à l’inauguration de plusieurs chantiers financés par cette société spécialisée dans l’exploitation du manganèse.
A Moanda, le président de la Transition sera en compagnie de la Présidente directrice générale du groupe Eramet, Christel Bories, qui fera spécialement le déplacement de Moanda.
Au cœur de l’activité minière
La COMILOG présentera à Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma ses laveries du minerai de manganèse composées de trois lignes modulaires érigées sur le plateau Okouma. Elles permettent à la Comilog d’augmenter sa capacité de production de manganèse et à confirmer ainsi, sa position de leader mondial dans ce secteur d’activité.
L’entreprise a investi 330 milliards de FCFA pour ces laveries modulaires qui emploient en direct plus de 200 personnes. Leur construction a mobilisé 30 entreprises et plus de 650 personnes sur les différents chantiers pour 200 emplois directs créés.
Le président de la Transition visitera également le Centre de Gestion Intégrée des Opérations (IROC) dénommé MOULEBE (Corps de garde en langue locale). Il permet à la Compagnie Minière d’avoir une vue d’ensemble de sa chaîne de valeur : de l’extraction du minerai à Moanda, à son chargement dans les navires au port minéralier d’Owendo et par transbordement au large de Libreville. D’une valeur de 2,5 milliards de FCFA, MOULEBE offre à la Comilog un environnement pluridisciplinaire en vue d’optimiser ses performances opérationnelles.
Inauguration
Le volet industriel de cette visite sera suivi du volet social notamment avec l’inauguration des chantiers réalisés par la Comilog dans le cadre de son programme de Responsabilité sociétale de l’entreprise (RSE).
Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma inaugurera la cité de relogement « Mingoungou », qui comptent 66 maisons destinées aux populations de la gare ferroviaire de Moanda, vivant à proximité des usines du CIM et du CMM. Ce lotissement réfectionné par la Comilog pour un coût global de 2,7 milliards de Francs CFA est entièrement viabilisé (adduction d’eau et fourniture d’électricité) avec 2,2 Km de voies entièrement pavées.
Le chef de la Transition ouvrira également les portes du premier orphelinat de Moanda, d’une capacité d’accueil de 50 enfants, construit à proximité de la cité Mingoungou, avec en son sein, un plateau sportif.
Comilog fera aussi couper le ruban symbolique de l’Usine 3L des Pavés de Konda qui est une unité de production de pavés servant à revêtir les voiries secondaires de la ville de Moanda. Financée à hauteur de 1,6 milliards de FCFA par la Comilog et l’Etat Gabonais, cette réalisation contribue à la lutte contre le chômage des jeunes. Elle compte 38 emplois directs dont 9 femmes ainsi que des emplois indirects. Par ailleurs, cette usine fabrique différents produits dont des briques industrielles, des cunettes et des bordures.
Le général Oligui Nguéma inaugurera enfin le Guichet Unique de Moanda situé dans le quartier administratif de la ville. Fruit d’un partenariat public privé avec l’Etat gabonais, ce guichet a pour objectif de faciliter la création d’entreprise, d’emplois ainsi que l’accès au foncier. Ce bâtiment moderne, s’étendant sur 700 m², intègre les standards internationaux. D’un montant global de près d’un milliard de francs CFA, sa construction a mobilisé plus de 80 personnes issues des PME locales gabonaises.
