Déterminés à défendre leurs droits, les agents d’Assala Gabon ont organisé le mercredi 21 juin dernier des assemblées générales de décisions sur tous les sites du producteur pétrolier : Gamba, Rabi, Toucan, Koula, Atora et Port-Gentil. L’unique principale revendication à l’ordre du jour a été l’attribution à tout le personnel d’une prime de bonne séparation étant donné que les actif d’Assala Gabon seraient sur le point d’être rachetés par Maurel & Prom.
Les employés exigent donc cette prime transactionnelle pour leur permettre de jouir de la puissance de leur société dont les actifs sont évalués, à 1 milliard de dollars, selon la presse internationale.
Ayant constaté que les discussions entre les délégués du personnel d’Assala Gabon et leur Direction prennent la vilaine allure d’un dialogue de sourds, les participants aux assemblées générales du 21 juin ont unanimement décidé de confier leur problème à l’Organisation nationale des employés du pétrole (ONEP) pour entamer des véritables discussions avec la Direction générale d’Assala.
Si à ce niveau, le dossier n’avance pas, les employés promettent de passer à la vitesse supérieure pour faire entendre raison à la Direction générale.
« Passer à la vitesse supérieure c’est paralyser l’outil de production par une grève dure dont le service minimum ne concernera que la survie du personnel et la maintenance des installations », a-t-il ajouté.
