Après trois années d’interruption liées à la pandémie de Covid-19, la deuxième édition de la Media’s Cup Gabon réunira les hommes des médias ce samedi 22 et dimanche 23 juillet à Libreville. Cette édition 2023 rassemblera à la fois un tournoi de football et un gala des médias, réunissant la plupart des médias gabonais, des communicants et des télécoms.

La deuxième édition de la Media’s Cup Gabon, évènement qui rassemble à la fois un tournoi de football et un gala des médias gabonais, fait son retour ce samedi 22 et dimanche 23 juillet 2023 à Libreville, après 3 ans d’absence. Cet évènement réunira des chaînes de télévision, les radios, des groupes de presse, des médias en ligne, des groupes de production, des maisons de téléphonies, les opérateurs internet, les artistes et les influenceurs web.
Selon les organisateurs, le principal objectif de la Media’s Cup Gabon est de mobiliser l’ensemble du Paysage audiovisuel gabonais (PAG), les communicants et les professionnels des télécoms autour d’un évènement sportif et festif, qui leur est exclusivement dédié. «Comme dans d’autres pays, il était temps que les médias aient un moment à eux dans l’année, où tout le monde se retrouve, s’amuse, discute, communie, etc.», apprend-on. Ce tournoi, et la soirée gala qui va avec, se veut à la fois convivial et populaire avec en toile de fond, l’idée de renvoyer au public une autre et meilleure image des médias, des communicants et télécommunicants gabonais dans leur globalité. La Media’s Cup Gabon est un tournoi de sixte, ouvert aux hommes et femmes, avec des matches à élimination directe. 27 équipes en phase de groupes pour cette deuxième édition. Le tournoi de football sixte se déroulera au stade de l’Amitié de 9h00 à 18h00. La dernière édition en 2019 a été remportée par la radio ‘’Street 103’’ et la deuxième place était revenue à Instant Prolongation (équipe de blogueurs, influenceurs et animateurs).
