À la suite de la diffusion d’une vidéo sur les réseaux sociaux montrant l’achat de 2 cuisses de poulet à 2 000, la direction générale de la Concurrence, de la Consommation et de la Répression des fraudes a fait une descente, le 28 mars, dans le magasin «Diallo Bon Prix». L’opération de la DGCCRF a permis de confronter les prix de ce magasin à la nouvelle mercuriale à laquelle sont soumis tous les commerces d’alimentation notamment.

La plainte effectuée par une cliente sur les réseaux sociaux par rapport à l’augmentation abusive des prix par le magasin «Diallo Bon Prix» est arrivée aux oreilles des autorités. Cela a permis à la direction générale de la Concurrence, de la Consommation et de la Répression des fraudes (DGCCRF) de faire une descente inopinée, le 28 mars, dans ce magasin situé à Montagne-Sainte.
Selon le constat fait dans le magasin par la brigade de contrôle de la DGCCRF, il en ressort que l’opérateur économique avait bel et bien respecté le prix du kilogramme du poulet. Cependant, quelques défaillances ont été observées, notamment l’affichage des prix des produits, mais aussi le non-respect de la nouvelle mercuriale.

«Des admonestations qui pourraient rapidement se transformer en sanctions lourdes en cas de récidive», a déclaré Anex Rodrigue Ngouoni, directeur de la répression des fraudes et du contentieux à la DGCCRF.
Le directeur de la répression des fraudes est également revenu sur la vidéo circulant sur les réseaux sociaux. «Je tiens à rassurer les consommateurs en ce qui concerne l’administration sur le fait que ce qui a été dit dans la vidéo doit être nuancé, car le prix donné par l’opérateur économique correspond bien à la nouvelle mercuriale», a-t-il indiqué.
Depuis le 1er octobre 2022, avec l’entrée en vigueur de la nouvelle mercuriale, les contrôles de conformité inopinés ont été lancés. À cet effet, le directeur général de la concurrence, de la consommation et de la répression des fraudes, Luther Steeven Abouna, avait indiqué que ce sont «des opérations de contrôle avec pour mot d’ordre de traquer les opérateurs économiques véreux». Un numéro vert 8085 a été mis à la disposition des consommateurs afin de signaler des cas de non-application de la nouvelle mercuriale, aux services compétents.
