Sofavin Gabon, filiale du Groupe Foberd et embouteilleur exclusif des produits de The Coca-Cola Company (Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola zéro, Fanta, Sprite et Schweppes) au Gabon, a accueilli le 23 mai 2023 une délégation de l’ambassade des États-Unis dirigée par Son Excellence Mme Thorburn Ellen B, Chargée d’Affaires ayant rang d’Ambassadeur, au sein de leur siège situé dans la zone industrielle et portuaire d’Owendo.

Cette visite s’est déroulée en présence de Monsieur Rodrigue Bila, vice-président de Coca-Cola pour l’Afrique de l’Ouest, du centre et des îles. Ce fut l’occasion pour cette délégation de découvrir les installations de la nouvelle usine de Sofavin Gabon, construite sur un terrain de 25 836 m² et dédiée à la production des boissons de la marque Coca-Cola. Elle a notamment visité les chaînes de production de bouteilles PET, des verres consignés, ainsi que les laboratoires physico-chimiques et microbiologiques.
Désiré Ouedraogo, directeur délégué de Sofavin, a guidé la délégation lors de leur visite de l’usine et leur a fait découvrir l’entièreté du processus de mise en bouteille ainsi que les diverses activités liées à la production des produits de The Coca-Cola Company.
Au cours des échanges, M. sigha, CEO du groupe Foberd, a tenu à partager les plans d’investissements actuels et ceux à venir, ainsi que tous les projets RSE de Sofavin Coca-Cola.
