Sous le thème «Financements innovants et verts : opportunités, défis et perspectives  pour le développement des systèmes alimentaires inclusifs, résilients et durables en Afrique centrale», la 15e réunion de l’équipe multidisciplinaire (MDT) du bureau sous régional de l’Organisation des Nations unies pour l’alimentation et l’agriculture (FAO) pour l’Afrique centrale, s’est ouverte ce mercredi 12 avril à Libreville. Par financements innovants, a expliqué Arslen Bounemra, le coordonnateur du Bureau sous-régional de la FAO pour l’Afrique centrale, il faut entendre les initiatives qui visent à lever de nouveaux fonds. Mais aussi, les initiatives visant à optimiser l’utilisation des sources de financement traditionnelles en faveur de l’économie verte et du développement durable. «Si nous avons choisi ce thème, c’est parce que de nombreuses opportunités existent actuellement pour réduire l’écart entre les ressources nécessaires et les ressources réellement disponibles pour le développement des systèmes alimentaires inclusifs, résilients et durables», a-t-il déclaré.
