Conformément aux critères de participation à la Ligue des champions féminine définis par la Confédération africaine de football (Caf), quatre clubs gabonais que sont Nyangou académie club, Atletico Akanda, Mwinda sports association et Oyem Athletic club ont obtenu leur licence Caf pour la saison sportive 2022-2023. L’annonce a été faite la semaine dernière par la Commission de communication de la Fegafoot.

La prochaine édition de la Ligue des champions féminine verra la participation des clubs gabonais. Le 2 juin, la Commission de Communication de la Fédération gabonaise de football a officialisé à travers un communiqué, la délivrance de licences à quatre clubs par le manager de la licence des clubs. Il s’agit de Nyangou Academie Club, Atletico d’Akanda, Mwinda Sports Association et Oyem Athletic club.
La délivrance des licences à ces clubs fait suite à la circulaire de la Confédération africaine de football du 25 avril 2023 relative aux critères de participation à la ligue des champions féminine. Dès réception de ladite circulaire, l’Organe de première instance (O.P.I) avait invité à travers une note signée du secrétaire général de la Fegafoot, les clubs féminins participant au championnat national de première division à solliciter la licence Caf.
Selon le calendrier établi et communiqué aux clubs par le biais de la ligue nationale de football féminin, «seuls les quatre clubs ont soumissionné pour l’octroi de la licence et l’ont obtenue conformément aux éléments de la procédure et aux exigences de la Caf», a précisé le communiqué de la Fegafoot.
