Le Directeur Général de la société Gabonaise de garantie (SGG), Alban Etho,  a échangé, mardi, avec la presse afin de présenter les missions de la structure financière et les résultats obtenus à mi-parcours, jugés satisfaisants.

Dans son exposé, le Directeur Général, Alban Etho a, tout d’abord indiqué que la Société Gabonaise de Garantie (SGG) est une Société anonyme, d’un capital de 12 milliards, avec pour cibles principales les PME / PMI, vecteurs de la création d’emplois. L’initiative des plus hautes autorités est portée par le Fonds Gabonais d’Investissements Stratégiques (FGIS), à travers sa filiale, Okoumé Capital SA, afin de contribuer activement à la mise en œuvre du Plan d’accélération de la Transformation (PAT), en appuie des autorités, en déployant des produits de garanties partielles de prêts au sein des Institutions financières de partenaires.

Il s’agit notamment d’accroître la capacité d’investissement des banques, partager le risque avec les banques jusqu’à 75%, lutter contre la vie chère, réduire le risque des sûretés exigées. Un challenge bien relevé, au regard des résultats à mi-parcours. « Aujourd’hui, en terme de couverture, on a pu faire 4 milliards d’émission de garantie, qui ont permis de lever 11 milliards de financement dans les banques partenaires.  Je pense que nous sommes sur la bonne voie et on va continuer à intensifier pour qu’on est des PME Gabonaises qui bénéficient des financements de la SGG », a confié le Directeur Général.
