En quête d’investisseurs pour l’essor de son secteur énergétique, base de toute évolution, le Gabon vient de saisir une opportunité de financement et de développement des lignes de transport d’électricité via un accord de partenariat public-privé signé avec la plateforme d’investissement Africa50, lors de la session Invest in Gabon organisée dans le cadre de la deuxième journée du Africa CEO Forum achevé, le 7 juin à Abidjan en Côte-d’Ivoire.
Ce protocole d’accord se présente comme une opportunité pour les investisseurs à s’engager vers le fort potentiel hydroélectrique du Gabon et répondre aux besoins pressants du pays en matière de lignes de transport d’électricité. En effet, dans son discours, d’ouverture de la session Invest in Gabon, le Premier ministre, Alain-Claude Bilie-By-Nze a exprimé l’engagement fort du gouvernement gabonais à mobiliser les investissements privés dans le pays, notamment dans le secteur des infrastructures. Il a rappelé la nécessité de rapidité dans l’exécution des projets pour soutenir la croissance inclusive du Gabon.
