Gabon Poste : 17 ans après, les ex-agents licenciés réclament toujours leurs droits sociaux

Les anciens agents de Gabon Poste, aujourd’hui Postbank, n’ont toujours pas reçu le paiement de leurs droits sociaux relatifs au plan social qui avait été initié en 2006 pour régulariser leur situation après licenciement. 17 ans après, ils menacent de ne pas aller aux urnes si leur revendication ne trouve pas satisfaction d’ici au 31 juillet 2023.

Le lundi 24 juillet dernier, s’est tenu devant la direction générale de la comptabilité publique du trésor de Libreville un mouvement d’humeur des anciens agents licenciés de Gabon Poste en 2006. Ces derniers sont montés au créneau pour exprimer le ras-le-bol face à cette situation d’indifférence qui les accable. « Trop c’est trop, le plan social des ex-agents de Gabon Poste liquidée demeure impayé. Déjà plus de 100 décédés des ex-agents de Gabon Poste. Payez-nous ! », tel était le message floqué sur les pancartes qu’ils brandissaient hier.

En 2006, ce sont plus de 800 agents de Gabon Poste qui avaient été licenciés et avaient par la suite reçu la promesse de l’État d’une exécution du plan social visant à éponger les paiements des droits sociaux des anciens agents de cette entité publique liquidée et devenue Postbank. Aujourd’hui, dix-sept ans après, ces derniers, dont certains, plus de 100 anciens agents sont décédés, n’ont toujours pas vu cette exécution du plan social qui leur avait été promis exécuté.

Pourtant, selon notre confrère Infos241, depuis 2006, un plan social a été mis en place avec un budget évalué à plus de 13 milliards de FCFA pour régulariser les situations de ces anciens agents. Vu les réclamations des manifestants, d’aucuns seraient tentés de s’interroger sur les trajectoires qu’auraient pris tous ces milliards qui avaient pourtant été décaissés, avoir pour seule mission de régulariser les situations de ces compatriotes. Le collectif estime que « les instructions du chef de l’État n’ont jamais été exécutées ».

«À l’orée des prochaines élections qui auront lieu dans le pays, le collectif demande l’intervention personnelle du chef de l’État, Ali Bongo qui a pourtant donné des instructions pour le paiement effectif de ce plan social qui, malheureusement, ne s’est toujours pas fait à ce jour», a déclaré l’un des secrétaires généraux adjoints du syndicat national des postes (Synaposte).

À l’instar des retraités civils et militaires qui avaient effectué leur acte 3 la semaine dernière à la cathédrale Sainte-Marie pour revendiquer, eux aussi, le paiement de leurs pensions, les ex-agents de Gabon Poste menacent à leur tour « de ne pas aller voter le 26 août prochain si leur situation ne trouve pas satisfaction d’ici au 31 juillet 2023».
