Le ministre de la Promotion de l’investissement, Hugues Mbadinga Madiya a reçu une délégation de plusieurs femmes, conduite par la directrice régionale Afrique centrale, du Liberia, du Nigeria et de la Sierra Leone de la Société financière internationale, Dalhia Kalhifa. Au menu, les stratégies à adopter pour booster l’économie gabonaise.

À la tête d’une forte délégation composée notamment de la représentante résidente de la Banque mondiale au Gabon, Aïssatou Diallo, les échanges entre le membre du gouvernement et son hôte ont tourné autour du rôle que doit jouer cet organisme du groupe de la Banque mondiale, dans l’amélioration de l’environnement des affaires au Gabon.

La société financière internationale (SFI) et le gouvernement ont déjà travaillé sur la loi sur l’investissement, la loi sur le crédit bail et envisagent de mettre en place un registre de sûreté pour faciliter les crédits au secteur privé. Un accent particulier a été mis sur la réalisation des infrastructures digitales ainsi que l’accès au foncier. Le membre du gouvernement a saisi cette opportunité pour demander à la SFI de financer les PME gabonaises.
