Le ministre de la Promotion des investissements, Hugues Mbadinga Madiya a visité le 11 mai dernier, le nouveau port sec de la ZIS de Nkok. Le membre du gouvernement était accompagné de l’administrateur général de la Zone d’investissement spéciale de Nkok, Anne Nkene Biyo’o, et du directeur général de Gabon Special Economic Zone (GSEZ), Agrawal Mohit.

Cette infrastructure, qui permet de connecter la Zone d’investissement spéciale (ZIS) de Nkok au port d’Owendo par voie terrestre, est selon le ministère de la Promotion des investissements, un outil stratégique d’accélération de la performance de ce parc industriel multisectoriel. Car elle va permettre de décongestionner le port d’Owendo, de fluidifier le trafic dans la ville, de réduire les délais d’exportation de la production des opérateurs économiques. Elle va permettre aussi de faciliter l’acheminement des besoins en équipements et autres intrants pour les opérateurs de la ZIS de Nkok, apprend-on.
«C’est une plus-value sur l’ensemble de la chaîne logistique. Ce port sec est un élément supplémentaire d’attractivité des investisseurs à la ZIS de Nkok», soutient le ministre Hugues Mbadinga Madiya, assurant qu’elle est prête à accueillir 2500 et 3000 containers par mois.
