Le ministère du Pétrole et du gaz a sorti le communiqué. Dès ce 1er janvier 2024, le gaz butane se vend désormais à 4 950 au lieu de 6000 FCFA avant le message de vœux à la nation du président de la Transition, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma.

Dans son message à la nation, le général Oligui Nguéma a instruit son gouvernement de baisser le prix de ce produit de consommation courante dès le 1er janvier.

C’est désormais chose faite.

Le Gabon est un importateur net de gaz butane. Il y a quelques jours, le pays a inauguré une usine de production de gaz. Construite par Perenco, la nouvelle usine réduira de 50% l’importation du gaz au Gabon.

Le gouvernement a par ailleurs fixé le prix à la pompe du carburant comme suit : Essence 595 FCFA le litre et 575 FCFA le litre de gazole.
