Comptant parmi ses meilleurs partenaires sur le continent, la Chine envisage de renforcer sa coopération avec le Gabon, notamment dans le domaine agricole. Le directeur général de l’Agence de coopération économique internationale de la Chine a exprimé lundi 19 juin au ministre gabonais de l’Agriculture Charles Mve Ellah la volonté de son pays de construire au Gabon un établissement de formation technique spécialisé. La structure qui devrait être construite dans la province de l’Estuaire nécessitera un budget de 5 milliards de dollars.

Bien accueilli par la partie gabonaise, ce projet permettrait, espère Dr Christian Ngwe Assoumou, de mettre en place un nouveau système de formation dite de proximité au bénéfice des populations de la zone du Komo-Kango. Il s’agira, précise le directeur général de l’Enseignement, de la Formation et de la Recherche agricole, d’enseigner les techniques résilientes prenant en compte les nouvelles données liées à la préservation de l’environnement.
