L’Etat gabonais a acquis 35% de parts du puissant groupe de distribution Ceca-Gadis, a annoncé la présidence de la République dans un communiqué.
Les parts du Gabon dans le groupe seront gérées par la Caisse de Dépôts et Consignations (CDC).
Mercredi, le président du Conseil d’administration, Michel Essonghe, a officiellement remis au président de la Transition le Général Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema le rapport de propriété de l’État dans le capital de GAGEPAR (groupe Ceca-Gadis).
Cette remise s’est faite en présence du ministre de la Justice, Garde des sceaux, Paul- Marie Gondjout.
Le groupe Ceca-Gadis est le leader au Gabon de la distribution avec des supermarchés dans les 9 provinces. Présent depuis 90 ans, il compte plus de 104 magasins sur le territoire national et 1 à Sao-Tomé et Principe.
Outre ce groupe, le Gabon envisage « acquérir des parts dans d’autres structures d’envergure et les redéployer au service de la République afin de booster le développement de notre économie », précise le communiqué de la présidence.
