En prélude à la table ronde de Paris qui se tiendra les 28 et 29 novembre 2023, consacrée à la mobilisation des financements du 2ème programme des projets intégrateurs prioritaires de la CEMAC, une importante délégation de l’institution sous régionale s’est rendue à Oslo en Norvège pour faire un plaidoyer auprès des investisseurs scandinaves.
Ce plaidoyer de la CEMAC a eu lieu le 19 octobre dernier au cours d’une réunion bilatérale de haut niveau à laquelle prenaient part, les Sénateurs norvégiens, les présidents et directeurs généraux des banques et fonds de développement, des fonds d’investissement, des fonds de pension et des entreprises multinationales et nationales nordiques.
« La mise en œuvre de ce deuxième programme devrait permettre à notre sous-région de renforcer sa résilience face aux chocs futurs, de développer les échanges intra-communautaires notamment pour garantir la sécurité alimentaire et, enfin, de tirer davantage profit de la Zone de libre-échange continentale africaine (ZLECAf) », a fait comprendre durant les échanges, Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, Ministre de l’Economie et des Finances du Congo-Brazzaville qui est par ailleurs président du Copil du PREF-CEMAC, président du Comité ministériel de l’UMAC, Chef de délégation de Haut Niveau de la CEMAC.
Le 2ème programme est composé de treize (13) projets intégrateurs prioritaires, adopté, au cours de sa quinzième session de la Conférence des Chefs d’Etat de la CEMAC, ordinaire tenue le 17 mars 2023 à Yaoundé (République du Cameroun), sur proposition du Président Congolais Denis Sassou N’Guesso, par ailleurs Président Dédié du Programme des réformes économiques et financières de la CEMAC (PREF-CEMAC).
Dans ce programme, il sera question de développer des infrastructures physiques en soutien au développement et à la compétitivité des économies de la sous-région, de renforcer la production d’une énergie stable, bon marché et accessible aux populations de la CEMAC, de promouvoir le marché unique pour renforcer l’intégration commerciale et de diversifier l’économie propice à la densification de la base productive, à la protection de l’environnement, à la croissance inclusive et ainsi que au développement, entre autres.
