Présent au Gabon dans le domaine des infrastructures, le groupe Colas spécialisé dans la construction et l’entretien d’infrastructures de transports, d’aménagements urbains et de loisirs souhaite faire profiter le Gabon de son réseau bancaire. Reçu par le président Ali Bongo le 5 juin, le directeur général de Colas Europe, Moyen-Orient et Afrique l’a fait savoir à l’issue de l’audience. Francis Grass a dit avoir «parlé à monsieur le président de toute la possibilité qu’un groupe mondial comme Colas peut apporter à la République gabonaise en profitant de notre réseau mondial en particulier au niveau des banques et la capacité que nous avons d’apporter des banques internationales».
Restant dans le champ de compétence actuel de l’entreprise au Gabon, Francis Grass a fait avec Ali Bongo, le point des chantiers et des opérations entamées dans le pays. Entre autres, indique la Communication présidentielle, la réalisation d’infrastructures et des travaux de voiries urbaines dont la deuxième phase de la Transgabonaise avec l’axe Nsile-Bifoun qui s’étend sur 120 km, Bikélé et Franceville. Aussi, a-t-il proposé au chef de l’État gabonais des solutions de construction jugées innovantes et modernes puisque répondant aux obligations de protection de la planète.
«J’ai voulu absolument lui mettre à disposition et l’informer des possibilités que nous avons de nouvelles technologies», a dit Francis Grass. «Ce sont de nouvelles technologies qui sont éprouvées ailleurs. Il ne s’agit pas des essais qu’on fait pour voir si ça marche. C’est quelque chose qui marche, c’est du recyclage classique», a-t-il poursuivi.
