26 policiers limogés à la prison de Missérété

L’administration pénitentiaire a relevé de leurs fonctions tous les fonctionnaires de police en service à la prison civile d’Akpro-Missérété. C’est à travers une note de service en date du 24 mars 2023 et signée du Directeur de l’Agence Pénitentiaire du Bénin.

Coup de balai à la prison civile d’Akpro-Missérété dans le département de l’Ouémé ! Tous les agents de police en poste à la prison civile d’Akpro-Missérété ont été relevés de leurs fonctions et mis à la disposition de la Direction Générale de la Police républicaine, dans la nuit du vendredi 24 mars 2023.

Cette décision du Directeur de l’Agence Pénitentiaire du Bénin, François Hounkpè, intervient à la suite d’une visite de l’autorité dans ladite prison le même jour. La note de service précise que les fonctionnaires de police mis à la disposition de la Direction Générale de la Police républicaine doivent rejoindre leurs nouveaux postes au plus tard mardi 28 mars 2023.

Akpro-Missérété, une prison civile reconnue aux normes et standards internationaux est sous les feux des projecteurs depuis les dénonciations de supposées « violations des droits » de l’ex ministre de la justice et candidate du parti d’opposition Les Démocrates, Reckya Madougou qui serait empêchée d’être en contact avec son avocat.
